Biophysical modelling of agricultural and energy systems

I develop and use flow-based models to study how the material structure of systems shapes their performance, vulnerabilities, historical trajectories and possible futures. My PhD focuses on French agricultural metabolism from 1852 to 2050.

From research to public expertise

At The Shift Project, I have worked on the Agriculture project, the Plan robuste pour l'économie française (PREF) and food-system work. I now work mainly on energy sovereignty within the public affairs team.
